Social vs Dripify: LinkedIn Prospecting for Small Teams

Dripify fits a team that wants a repeatable prospecting sequence and a campaign inbox. Social fits founders who want their existing agent to research prospects and decide the next step with them.

Which should you choose?

Choose Social if

your three-person team needs context-heavy prospect research and individually reviewed outreach, and someone can maintain the agent workflow.

Choose Dripify if

your reps need the same campaign process, inbox, and reporting each week. Pro includes Open API and MCP; Advanced adds team management, so choose the plan around the management work you need.

Switching probably isn’t worth it if the team already runs reliable Dripify sequences and the real need is a better lead list or message. Changing tools will not supply either automatically.

The same job, two workflows

Turn 30 approved prospects into reviewed first touches

Start with: Three reps with one LinkedIn account each, ten approved prospect URLs per rep, one audience definition, and a two-step outreach brief.

Use this evaluation brief

Replace the bracketed input with your own approved data. This is a prompt to reproduce the comparison, not a tested result or authorization to send.

Input: [ten approved LinkedIn profile URLs per rep], [three rep account names], [audience definition].
Return a table with profile URL, assigned rep, evidence of fit, first-touch draft, and follow-up draft. Preserve the rep assignment. Mark existing contacts and missing facts. Do not send. Describe the acceptance and reply checks before any follow-up.

Social

  1. Connect Social to your MCP client and authorize your LinkedIn account. Choose read access for the evaluation.
  2. Give your agent the input and ask it to return a table with a source URL for each person, a reason they fit, and missing information marked explicitly. Ask for first-touch and follow-up drafts with an assigned sender for each matched prospect.
  3. Review the results and draft any next action separately. Approve an exact message and recipient before asking the agent to send it.

Output: A sourced prospect table and drafts for individual review. Your agent workflow owns the sequence and reporting.

Dripify

  1. Connect each rep’s account and import the approved leads into a campaign.
  2. Build the sequence, personalize the message fields, and configure the campaign’s timing and conditions.
  3. Review the campaign before launch, then handle conversations and measure results in Dripify. Evaluate Advanced if a manager needs team controls.

Output: A running drip campaign, campaign analytics, and conversations in the product inbox.

These steps follow the documentation; we haven’t tested the workflows firsthand. Follow the Social setup instructions and Dripify workflow documentation, then compare the output before committing.

Agent and API access

Hosted MCP and CLI. Bring your own agent to combine research, messages, publishing, and engagement; you define the workflow.

Social capabilities and setup

Pro lists Open API and MCP. Compare the available operations rather than assuming an agent requires a move to Social.

Dripify Pro features

Team management

Each connected identity is selectable by your agent. Define your own rep assignments, approval process, and team reporting.

Social capabilities and setup

Advanced adds team management and activity controls to Pro’s campaign features.

Dripify Advanced

Workflow

The grant defines access, and the account selector chooses the connected identity. Write tools execute real actions; your MCP client or agent must obtain your approval.

Social capabilities and setup

Drip campaigns, a dedicated inbox, and analytics organize repeated outreach. Review the sequence and conditions before activating it.

Data export

CLI reads return JSON, and explicit sync can populate a local SQLite mirror for SQL queries. Design your own CSV or CRM mapping from the returned data.

Social capabilities and setup

The pricing feature list includes CSV lead export. Check your CRM’s required fields and conversation-history needs separately.

Usage limits

LinkedIn is priced per connected account with flat proxy usage. Provider restrictions and account safeguards still apply; there is no promised daily outreach volume.

Social pricing

The subscription is per user, with campaign and account activity governed by Dripify’s controls and LinkedIn restrictions. A paid plan does not guarantee outreach volume.

Dripify plans

Price the same scenario

Three reps, three LinkedIn accounts, and 30 approved prospects during one month. Monthly billing; no annual discount. Compare Pro for the rep workflow and Advanced when team management is required.

Social

3 connected LinkedIn accounts × $20 = $60/month. LinkedIn proxy usage is flat, with no credit top-ups.

Social pricing

Dripify

Pro: 3 × $79 = $237/month. Advanced: 3 × $99 = $297/month. The annual equivalents of $59 and $79 per user require annual billing and are not used in this monthly calculation.

Dripify billing periods

These are product subscription costs, not the full cost of operating a workflow. Your AI client or model, LinkedIn subscription, implementation time, and taxes are excluded on both sides. Flat pricing is not unlimited permission to act: account and provider limits still apply.

Before you switch

  1. Export the leads and save the sequence, personalization fields, replies, and suppression rules. A CSV lead list is not a complete campaign backup.
  2. Reconnect the three authorized accounts in Social, map each prospect to a rep, and rebuild timing, reply checks, and reporting in your agent workflow.
  3. Pause a ten-lead cohort in Dripify and test it with Social. Verify the sender account, existing connection status, opt-outs, and duplicates before approving a send.

A new tool does not remove LinkedIn’s account restrictions. Read our account safety explanation before connecting an account.

How we prepared this comparison

Prepared by Social, the product being compared, with Cyrus Nouroozi as the responsible author. Facts checked October 14, 2026 against the linked public pricing and product documentation and Social’s implementation. Competitor features are documented only, not tested firsthand. Prices are USD before tax. We have not measured deliverability, account restriction rates, or performance. Product changes require checking the affected claims and calculations again.
